Katie & Shane Engagement
Katie, Shane, and I dared to venture out after the rain to the Woodland Park Zoo for some engagement shots. If only the animals had dared to venture out too! Katie loved the gorillas and shane wanted to explore the restricted areas. And I got to use my widely neglected annual zoo pass! Below are some of the pictures.
Eric & Allison Engagement
Allison and Eric wanted to have some engagement pictures at the University of Washington quad. Our intent was to capture some of the cherry blooms. Unfortunately for us, so was the whole world! It seemed every one was out with their cameras today. We caught some pictures and then we went to the Japanese garden near the Arboretum — it was beautiful. Enjoy!
Seattle Orientation Project
A couple of our friends came to Seattle for a visit this weekend. Jess was my roommate in college and Kevin was one of “the guys.” My husband and I decided to initiate them as Seattlites. First off it was Seattle Center, and then Pikes Place, and finally seagull feeding on the pier. The beautiful rainy day helped! Thanks Jess and Kevin for stopping by!
Kaylah + Andrew
Wow! This was one of the most beautiful and truly religious weddings I have had the opportunity to capture. Both Kaylah and Andrew’s fathers are Baptist pastors and co-celebrated their ceremony. We all got to witness their first kiss as husband and wife — and first kiss ever! Thank you Kaylah and Andrew, it was an honor.
A new lens today!
Hi folks, I bought a new macro lens today! For photographers, it is a 60mm F/2.8 EFS lens from Canon. Watch out brides, I will now be able to capture stellar images of your rings and accessories. I am so excited by my new family member, I took a walk and captured some images to share. Enjoy!
Dinners Done Right!
I discovered something new and fantastic this weekend and I want to share it with everyone! Saturday my husband and I went to a place called Dinners Done Right where together we made 12 full-size dinners in less than an hour. The dinners are resting comfortably in our freezer. Today we made pork tenderloins and herb roasted potatoes with rolls and veggies on the side. Pop it in the oven, and whoolah! Restaurant quality dinners for two. Is it not a simply beautiful thing?

Hannah & Angel
I met up with Hannah and Angel at Pike’s Market Place for their engagement photos. Pikes place and the Pier in Seattle are great places for photos. We had a good time. Unfortunately, the fish and chips place that Hannah and Angel love was closed for renovation! We still got some great shots and I look forward to shooting their wedding in June! Delisa & Tim
Today started out a little bleak and dreary — it’s Seattle! What can we expect? But, as soon as I met up with Delisa and Tim, the sun started to peak through the clouds. We went to Gas Works Park and the EMP in Seattle. Delisa and Tim are a terrific couple getting married in April. Tim proposed to Delisa by the reflecting pool in front of the magic kingdom in Disneyland! I look forward to capturing their wedding. Click here to see the slide show.
