Melanie and Derek Engagement — Olympic Sculpture Park Seattle
Melanie and Derek chose to have their engagement pictures done at the Olympic Sculpture Park in Seattle with a few hints from me. Derek’s little son came along and I wanted to include him in just about every picture because he was just so cute. I don’t think we will have any troubles on the wedding day! Congrats on your engagement and I look forward to capturing your special day.

Brenda and Paul Wedding – Sunset Hill Community Club
Brenda and Paul were married on Saturday at the Sunset Hill Community Club. I was amazed by the love and support of so many many friends and family there who helped pull the event together. Even Brenda’s elderly mother was able to join them. We started out at Ballard Locks for photographs of the bridal party and Brenda and Paul. It was a brilliantly bright day. Brenda’s love for children was evident with the choir of small children that sang during their ceremony. Paul’s son was a great DJ with some pretty fancy equipment. Such a beautiful and wonderful day and you can see in the faces of Brenda and Paul.
Check out Brenda and Paul’s registery. Thank you to friends and family who have send gifts to Brend and Paul.

Seattle Boudoir Photography
I held a breathless boudoir “marathon” at an amazing hotel suite in Seattle clear back in May. These women graciously gave me permission to share these images. Boudoir images are intimate portraits of yourself and often used as a gift towards your groom, husband, or even to keep for yourself. The next session will be in the fall and I am already collecting a waiting list for the session. If you are interested I would love to add you to the list and notify you when the date has been set. It will be an ideal time if you are looking for a great Christmas gift this year!
A Rainy Wedding at Saint Edwards State Park
Here’s a sneak peak from Alaina and Doug’s intimate Tuesday wedding. More to come soon…..

Seattle Arboretum Engagement Session — Grace and John
Grace and John are planning a wedding at the University Presbyterian Church with a reception at the Woodmark Hotel in August. I can’t wait because they’re going to depart the reception on a boat! How cool!
We met up at the Arboretum today and had a great time walking around. Grace and John live in different states out East, so I hadn’t had a chance to meet these guys until today. They are such a fun, energetic couple and I am already starting to envision their wedding images. Grace told me that John spent hours looking through hundreds of photographers to find me, so I feel pretty privileged to be a part of their wedding. In the brief time I spent with them I could feel the love these two share. It’s beautiful! I am amazing that they are able to continue a long distance relationship until their wedding.
Here are a few images. Congratulations you guys!

Megan and Asher’s Wedding at the Tacoma Museum of Glass
Megan and Asher (Randy) were married on Saturday at the Tacoma Museum of Glass. Megan and Asher’s engagement session was one of the coolest I have done! We walked around pioneer square and the old train tracks. The museum provided a spectacular backdrop of art and architecture. We started off with a first glance and then headed off to get some great portraits of the bride and groom and family. Annemarie Juhlian did fantastic job officiating the ceremony which included a Handfasting Ceremony in addition to the ring exchange. Asher’s mother and sister came all the way from St. Lucia to celebrate. Asher is a fantastic artist and much of the decorations featured his artwork. Thank you Megan and Asher for allowing me to capture such precious memories.
