Tacoma Museum of Glass
Megan and Asher were married one year ago today at the Tacoma Museum of Glass. Happy Anniversary!

Orcas Island
I just returned from a three day trip to Orcas Island. I was invited by a local Orcas resident to capture high school senior portraits for three of the island’s graduates. You can see the resulting slideshow on my Seattle Senior Portraits website very soon. Orcas is a special place for my husband and I, as we got married there 3 years ago this month. I have also captured several weddings out in the San Juans and so I am reminded of many celebrations as we stroll the area. Here is an image at sunset.

Happy Anniversary!

Safeco Field Engagement Session
If you’re wondering where to go in the rain, think of Safeco field ballpark! The roof kindly blocked all of the rain, but left us with a nice outdoors atmosphere. Mandi and Chris treated me to a fun tour insiders tour of Safeco field taking photo opportunities along the way. Mandi was a ball girl for the mariners and Chris was a ball player around the time they met so Safeco field has a special place in their relationship — not to mention that they are huge fans and attend a game every month.

Lake Washington Engagement Photos
Heather and Tom introduced me to an area around Mount Baker Boat House and Genesee Park. There were small beaches, docks, beautiful spring blooms, and waddling geese which made for the perfect early scenic backdrop. We met early in the morning when the sun just started burning through the clouds. We moved around a small area all the while enjoying good converstation.

Wedding at Heritage Hall
Leanna and Erik met by chance through friends and had a very long distance relationship… all the way from Seattle to Norway. Their Seattle wedding was intimately shared with close family and friends at the Heritage Hall in Kirkland. They are planning a second wedding in Norway to celebrate with Erik’s family and friends. Leanna and her two sisters started at the Woodmark Hotel to get ready. We took advantage of the beautiful scenery for some quick photo opportunities at the docks. Leanna’s son was full of energy and excitement throughout the wedding day. The rain storm held off until dinner started, which couldn’t have made for a more beautiful day. I am sure Leanna and Erik are having a great time in Maui right now soaking up golden tans and sinking their feet in warm sand!
